Amy Griffin, a computer science major, earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-America At-Large First Team. She received the honor for the first time in her career after picking up her first CSC Academic All-District award.Â
The midfielder claimed a multitude of on-field awards this season, including being named the NFHCA National Player of the Year, Regional Player of the Year and NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year. The junior also secured a place on the All-American, all-region and All-NESCAC first teams.
This season, the Panther led the conference in points (56) and was tied for the league lead with 23 goals, while sitting second on the team in assists (10). She concluded the season ranked fourth in program history with 35 career helpers, while her single-season point total was fifth.
Off the field, Griffin is a two-time NESCAC All-Academic honoree and three-time NFHCA National Academic Team selection. She is a computer science tutor and a member of the Middlebury Student Advisory Group.
