The Middlebury field hockey team has enjoyed tremendous success recently, including eight NCAA Championships (2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) in the last nine seasons. The Panthers have won nine NCAA titles overall in 21 tournament appearances, advancing to the championship game on 13 occasions. Middlebury became the first program to win four-straight national titles (2021), won a fifth-straight and sixth-consecutive crown in 2022 and 2023 before making it seven-straight in 2024.
The Panthers have won 10 NESCAC Championships including six-straight titles from 2017-2023, taking part in the conference’s title game 15 times. The team has produced 58 All-Americans since 1991.
