The Middlebury men's golf team hosted Williams, Trinity and Hamilton at the fourth-annual Ekwanok College Tournament held at the Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vermont. Eight golfers participated for each team, with the top-six scores counting for each squad. This marked the final event of the fall for the Panthers.
Williams took home the Sap Bucket with a total of 433, two strokes better than 2015 champion Trinity (435). Middlebury, last year's winners, shot a 454, followed by Hamilton (463).
John Stenovec led the Middlebury team, shooting a 72 to finish in a tie for sixth place. All alone in ninth was David Packer with a 73, followed by Jeffrey Giguere, who joined others in 12th place with a 76. Jordan Bessalel and John Mikus were one stroke back in a tie for 16th place (77), David McDaniel shot a 79, while Joe Ko carded an 80.
