Women's Golf Second After One Day at NESCAC Championship

Middlebury sits in second place after one day of play at the 2015 NESCAC Women's Golf Championship hosted at the Taconic Golf Club by Williams. The Ephs turned in four individual scores below 80 to post a team score of 309 to hold a 19-stroke lead. The Panthers sit in second place with a score of 328, while Amherst is six strokes behind Middlebury with a 330. Action resumes on Sunday morning.

Katharine Fortin led Middlebury on day one with a 79, five strokes off the lead. Theodora Yoch and Helen Dailey were next, eaching shooting an 81. Monica Chow carded an 87 through 18 holes, while Hope Matthews came in with an 88.
