Men's Golf Finishes Second At Williams

The Middlebury College men's golf team turned in a solid second place tie among 18 teams at the Williams Invitational over the weekend. The Ephs, who shot 640 last weekend at the Duke Nelson, fired a 591 to win the two-day event. The Panthers came in with a 611 as did Manhattanville to finish in a tie for second place.

Senior Brian Cady (Rye, N.Y.) fired a 73 on day two to lead the Panthers with a 150, good for a ninth place tie. Senior Jim Levins (Rutland, Vt.) shot a 154 to finish in 16th, followed closely by rookie Rob Donahoe (Canton, Mass.) who was one stroke behind to tie for 21st. Sophomore William Prince (New Canaan, Conn.) shot a 157, while first-year player Max Alley (Albany, N.Y.) came in with a 159 to round out the scorers.
