Xander Swann secures his second conference accolade.
Xander Swann of the Middlebury men's track and field team has earned his second NESCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. Swann and the rest of the Panthers hosted the Middlebury Invitational last weekend.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The senior reset his personal-best clocking in the 400-meter hurdles, claiming the top spot with a time of 52.52.
- Swann's effort broke the Allan Dragone Track & Field Complex record of 53.45 set by Kevin Bright in 2006.
- The Panther ranks second in the conference and fourth in Division III.
- Swann has claimed the event title in three invites this spring.
Swann and his teammates travel to Wesleyan for the NESCAC Championship on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m.
