Dave Filias of the Middlebury men's track and field team has been named the NESCAC Field Athlete of the Week for the second time in as many weeks. 
 
HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

• Filias won the hammer throw at the UMass Julie LaFreniere Commonwealth Invite on Saturday.
• The Panther launched the implement 60.37 meters in a meet that featured all three NCAA divisions.
• Filias' toss currently ranks fifth in the country.
• This marks the third time the senior has earned the honor.
• Filias set the school mark in the event last year with a launch of 61.22m. 

The thrower and the rest of the team host the Middlebury Invitational and Senior Day on Saturday at the Allan Dragone Track & Field Complex.
