Shue tallies her fifth career NESCAC weekly honor.
Hope Shue of the #1 Middlebury women's lacrosse team has garnered Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Co-Offensive and NESCAC Player of the Week honors after leading the team to a 2-0 mark last week. The national honor is the third of her career, while the conference accolade is the second of the season and the fifth of her career.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The Panther continued her offensive tear with 13 total points (7G, 6A) over the two contests.
- Shue opened the week with three goals and two assists during an 18-2 victory over St. Lawrence.
- The attacker followed that effort with a game-high eight points (4G, 4A) alongside a career-best 10 draw controls to propel the Panthers past #2 Tufts 16-15 in a battle of the top-ranked teams in Division III.
- Shue leads the NESCAC in multiple offensive categories, including goals (48), goals per game (3.69) and total points (69).
Middlebury continues its march to the postseason on Saturday with a road contest against #15 Trinity at noon.
