Perry & Kenary Tabbed CSC Academic All-America Honorees

Perry and Kenary each earned their second CSC Academic All-America honor.

Middlebury football players Thomas Perry and Tomás Kenary were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America squads. Perry earned a first-team honor, while Kenary was tabbed to the second team.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Perry (First Team)
    • Perry is a molecular biology and biochemistry major with an impressive 3.92 grade point average. 
    • It is the second-consecutive CSC first-team national honor for the offensive lineman.
    • The Panther was named to the All-NESCAC First Team Offense for the third-straight campaign.
    • The senior also earned All-American honors from the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) with first-team accolades and D3football.com garnering a fourth-team nod.
    • He became the first Panther in program history to be invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl and named to the inaugural Walter Camp Division III All-America Team.
    • Perry helped lead the program to the third-best offense in the NESCAC, tallying 354.8 yards per game and 2,005 passing yards.
    • The senior has been named a NESCAC All-Academic honoree in each of the last three campaigns.
  • Kenary (Second Team)
    • Kenary was named a CSC Academic All-America for the second time, having been a first-team honoree last season.
    • The neuroscience major was also a CSC All-District selection for the third time.
    • He earned his third-straight All-NESCAC First Team honor and became the third player in program history to be named a two-time AFCA All-American.
    • The senior was a force toward opposing offenses, as he led the Panthers in tackles for loss (11.0) and yardage from tackles for loss (47).
    • He shared the team lead in sacks (5.5) and had 33 tackles.
    • Kenary graduates as the Panthers' all-time leader in sacks (30), sack yardage (227), tackles for loss (51) and TFL yardage (267).
    • The senior was tabbed a NESCAC All-Academic honoree for three consecutive seasons.

Perry and Kenary helped the program to a 6-3 mark, marking the 15th time in the last 16 campaigns that the program has finished .500 or better. The full list of honorees can be found here.
