Four members of the #17 Middlebury women's track and field team traveled to Williamstown, Massachusetts on Wednesday afternoon for the Williams Final Qualifier. The meet serves as the last chance for student-athletes to try to qualify for the upcoming NCAA Championships. The top-20 Division III performers in each event at the end of this week will be invited to participate at the championships and will be announced on Friday, May 20. 
 
Audrey Grimes had a breakout performance in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. She clocked in at 10:51.12, bettering her personal record by nearly 14 seconds. Grimes' time ties her for eighth in the national rankings.
 
Cady Barns, who is already ranked 15th in the country in the triple jump, attempted to qualify in the long jump. She lept to a distance of 5.65m during the event.
 
Michelle Louie clocked in at 25.90 in the 200m, while Jacqueline Topping finished the 400m with a time of 59.40.
