Women's Track & Field Shines On First Day Of New England’s

Katelyn Pease was a member of the DMR quartet.
The Middlebury women's track and field team sits in third place with 19 points on the first day of the Division III New England Championship. Williams leads all teams with 44 points, while Tufts rounds out the top-three with 22.50 points. Colby is hosting the event for the first time, with competition resuming on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. 
 
The distance medley relay squad (Katelyn Pease, Michelle Louie, Nicole Johnson and Cassie Kearney) earned runner-up honors in the event, clocking in at 12:05.2. 

Michelle Louie, Briana Johnson, Jaqueline Topping and Ashley Raynor placed third in the 4x200 relay, clocking in at 1:46.76.
 
Zoe Wang sailed to a personal-best height of 3.61m (11'10") in the pole vault, placing fourth overall out of 24 competitors. With the height, Wang broke the school record of 3.49m (11'5.75") which was set in 2019. 

Both relay squads and Wang earned All-New England honors with their performances.
