The Middlebury women's indoor track and field team placed first, as the Panthers hosted the Middlebury Field & Track Meet on Saturday in Virtue Field House. The Panthers recorded 156.5 points to lead the eight-team field.

Mary Scott Robinson won the shot put with a heave of 37'-8.25".

Kate Kenny took top honors in the mile, finishing the race in 5:09.54, while Ashley Raynor crossed the finish line first in the 400 meters (1:02.35). Winnie Wang was the winner of the 800m, finishing in 2:28.70, while in the shortest race of the day, Cady Barns topped the field in the 60-meter dash with a clocking of 8.10 seconds.

Morgane Orcutt outdistanced the field in the 3,000m, boasting a top time of 10:55.04.

Middlebury's 4x800 relay team of Tatum Peskin, Bridget Ulian, Wang and Kate Ratcliffe combined for a winning effort of 10:39.49.

BU Valentine Invite

Middlebury's distance medley relay team of Emily Bulczynski, Michelle Louie, Nicole Johnson and Cassie Kearney combined for a time of 11:52.69 to place seventh at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday.
