Panthers Garner 12 NFF Hampshire Honor Society Spots

The Panthers had 12 players recognized by the NFF.

The Middlebury football team had 12 student-athletes named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. Out of the 339 institutions recognized, the Panthers were one of 97 with 10 or more honorees.

Earning the laurels for Middlebury were Teddy Daniel, Dave Filias, Chris Fink, Adam Harrington, Patrick Jamin, Tomás Kenary, Liam Mitchell, Thomas Perry, Rocco Stola, Leonardo Urena, Ethan Vashel and Cole Wiseman.

The 12 seniors helped lead the Panther squad to a 24-12 record during their careers, including a NESCAC Co-Championship in 2023 with an 8-1 mark. The group was also a part of 7-2 and 6-3 seasons and a trio of upper-half finishes in the league standings.

To earn a spot on the NFF Hampshire Honor Society list, the student-athletes must have completed their final year of playing eligibility in 2024 and been starters or significant contributors throughout the season. They must have achieved a 3.20 cumulative grade point average in the classroom throughout the entire course of their respective undergraduate studies and met all NCAA-mandated progress toward degree requirements.
